Introduction

  • Spot Mouse, a mouse pointer highlight program, supports various types of cursor effects.
  • This manual is based on version 2.1.7, and there may be slight differences with other versions.
  • As the version advances, more types of mouse cursor changes will be supported.

 

 

Highlight Effects

  • In version 2.1.7, there are 4 pointer effects.
  • More types will be added in future updates.
  • Filled Circle
  • Filled Square
  • Empty Circle
  • Empty Square

  • In version 2.1.7, four cursor effects are supported.
  • Empty Circle + No Size Reduction Effect
  • Empty Circle + With Size Reduction Effect
  • Empty Square + No Size Reduction Effect

How to Change Mouse Pointer Effects

  • In the Settings category on the left side of the main screen, select [Highlight].
  • On the right side of the screen, the menu tabs for [Pointer], [Left Button Click], [Right Button Click], and [Middle Button Click] each have a combo box where you can select mouse pointer effects. By selecting from these boxes, you can individually set various effects for each button’s role.

For Empty Circle or Empty Square Effects, Can the Border Thickness be Adjusted?

  • Yes, it is possible.
  • The corresponding button menu tab has an item called [Advanced Settings…]. You can adjust it by clicking this menu.

I Want it to Start with the Currently Selected Highlight on the Next Run.

  • The highlight type selected by the user is automatically saved by the program, so it will start with the currently selected type on the next run. Users do not need to save it separately or worry about it. However, in rare cases, settings may not be saved depending on the security level of the user’s computer. If this occurs, after selecting the highlight type, please click the [Save Changes Immediately] button at the bottom of the main settings window once. Then the settings will be saved.
